EmPower+ New York provides no-cost energy efficiency solutions to income-eligible New Yorkers. Nearly 135,000 of your neighbors are saving energy and saving money with EmPower+ New York — without spending a dime. Free energy upgrades include but are not limited to:

Comfort Home Program
Improve Your Home’s Comfort with Seal and Insulate Packages
BlueStar Home Services is an active member of The Comfort Homes program, funded by NYSERDA. The program offers air sealing and insulation packages throughout New York State, regardless of household income. The workscopes are developed by trained and qualified energy auditors, in conjunction with our in-house engineering team. All weatherization measures are then installed by our team of experienced technicians who can help you solve common problems like drafty areas in your home, and rooms that are difficult to keep cool in summer, and reduce the occurrence of ice dams in winter. Upfront rebates ranging from $1,600 to $4,000 are available for the installation of air seal and insulate packages, depending on the type of improvements being made.
The NYS Clean Heat Program
We’re excited to help you take advantage of the NYS Clean Heat program, which offers substantial rebates for upgrading to energy-efficient heat pumps and heat pump water heaters. Depending on the size of the unit installed and the type of existing heating system you’re replacing, you can qualify for various levels of rebates. This program, funded by utilities in partnership with NYSERDA, makes it more affordable than ever to switch to cleaner, more efficient heating solutions.
